Say it, don't spray it:

Personally, I think if a woman is going to breastfeed in public, she can handle somebody staring at her. Me, I get all up in there. I like to ask the obvious questions. "Hey...hey, whatcha doin' there? You, uh...you MILKIN'? Is that what's going on? Mmm. Yeah. Well, you just keep on keepin' on. I'll just be right here, you know. Takin' some notes." And I do that. I take notes. I guess what I'm saying is, you need to write more stories in which the word "boob" is actually used. I need you on that like white on rice.

Ya know, I always "politely" look away. I mean, I would think that looking away would not offend because there's always the possibility that the baby will unexpectedly spit out the boob and expose the nipple, and I would think that the mother, even though deciding to breast-feed in public, would appreciate the world not seeing her entire breast. But even if she hides it well, it's still a personal moment, and it would probably just be easier for the mom if she didn't have to worry about making eye contact or not making eye contact with strangers who decide to stare at her.

So...I should avoid giving the thumbs up and yelling "dibs"?
