While I won't argue with the statement that shopping for ladies' underwear is more complicated than shopping for men's, I must object to the notion that, for us, it's as simple as being "boxers or briefs". There are, for example, several styles of briefs, most divided by how brief you want your briefs to really be. And in the world of boxers, there are boxer underpants which are designed to be worn, well, under pants. And then there are boxers for just wearing around the house and not scaring your neighbors when you accidentally walk in front of an open window. And don't get me started on fabrics.

Know what drives me around the bend? The way underwear is always small, medium, and large, and the wider they get, the longer they get. Consequently, my "ultra low-rise bikini" underwear sits above my freaking belly button. Gah!
