Say it, don't spray it:

I had surgery to un-deviate my septum (that's the technical term - ha, ha) a few years ago, and the results have been amazing. In the past, when I got a cold I'd have to sit upright at night to be able to breathe. Sometimes my nose would just close up entirely. When I got a sinus infection that would not go away, my ENT recommended the surgery. It also involved enlarging the opening to my sinuses and reducing the turbinates, or something like that. Once the swelling went down, I could feel myself breathe all the way up into my head. It was wonderful! Anyway, I asked the doc how my septum got so deviated in the first place, and he said it often happens at birth. If you trust your ENT, I'd say go for the surgery. Breathing is a great thing.

Sorry about the nose. I'm getting pretty tired of being injured all the time, too--now a rotator cuff injury. I'm not sure which is worse, nose or shoulder!
