When I worked where you work, I was told of a person who received permission to write a novel using company computers, as long as he didn't do it during working hours. I always thought that was kind of cool. Of course, times have probably changed and they're a lot more uptight about these things, but I doubt anyone would really have a problem with it. More likely, they'd just be confused about why you're writing a novel in the first place -- how exactly is it that you've escaped becoming a dull, lifeless automaton?

Oh, goodie, so your back will be better for the women's sparring, a new once-a-month regular thing at AKF, starting Friday night the 19th. Sifu said, "So you're going, right?" Like I can say no to that. Ugh.
