Hello! I've been reading for a long time but I don't think I've ever commented. Anyway, I moved to Portland this past summer so I too am snowed in! Luckily I have enough coffee to last a few more days and I don't drink Diet Coke. When I moved here people told me there wouldn't be much snow, all it ever does is rain, etc etc... I was not expecting this! I had to walk to the vet last week to get antibiotics for my cat. Well, now I'm clearly rambling (getting a little cabin fever inside this house), so I'll stop. Hope you got some pizza and Diet Coke!

Oh KFK, we really are cyber-twins. It would definitely be a Code Orange event if I ran out of Diet Coke during a snow storm. You really handled that squirrel too. We had squirrels running around in our ceiling tiles too when we lived in Salem. Must be something about Oregon squirrels. They think they house pets. Next he'll be asking for the remote control!

I'm just glad the freezing rain stopped. If the power goes out, we've got a gas fireplace that runs w/out power (we tested it today)... so you and the kitties can come over. We've run out of wine, but are still stocked on beer, whiskey and catfood. All the essentials, you know!
