My walk along the waterfront
2002-04-04 3:33 p.m.
It was such a beautiful day out I deiced to take a brisk walk along the waterfront during my lunch break. Here is a list of some things I saw:
A beautiful red headed woman sitting in the grass playing her violin.
A pug puppy small enough to fit in my cupped hands.
Three teen-agers smoking a joint by Skidmore fountain (?!)
Cute coast guard guys in boat. (they waved back)
Inpromptu drum circle. They rocked!
Miscellaneous homeless people snoozing on the lawn.
A gay man* smack his friend in the face because he was gesticulating wildly.
Lots of joggers, cyclists, skaters & skateboarders. I didn't see one razer scooter. Sadly no gingers (segway) either.
The vice president of our company while I had my hand down my shirt trying to fix my brastrap. There goes my next promotion.
Four different frisbee games going on.
A guy with his shirt off that looked cute and buff from far away but when he got closer I decided he looked scary with all his tattoos. Don't get me wrong, I love tattoos, Simon has two, but this guy's was more like the dark inky blue prison tattoos. Did not make eye contact.
Large dog with a pack on his back carrying his own water dish & pooper scooper.
*Yes, I am sterotyping. He was immaculately groomed, wearing a dapper button up vest, drenched in obsession cologne & had a heavy high-pitched lisp. It was pretty funny when he just hauled off and smacked this girl in the face as he threw his hands in the air. Tee hee.
