I'm wiped out today. I'm glad it's Friday. It's raining here which may not surprise many people because it is Oregon but it's raining so heavily we're on flash flood alert. Everyone has a sopping wet umbrella open in their cubicles and there's a trail of water leading from the elevators down the aisles. My feet are wet but I'm trying to warm up with a hot cup of coffee with two shots of espresso added.
Kung fu last night was exhaustive. At the beginning of class I was shown four new kicks: front thrust kick, side thrust kick, back thrust kick and the hook kick. Then I was told to practice them on my own. So I went in my corner and drilled them over and over....for fifty minutes! I think my sifu forgot about me. So today my legs and knee joints are toast. I had to sit down to brush my teeth last night because my legs were shaking too hard. On the upside I got my requirements for my purple sash! ooooooooo purple! So after class I spent some time digging out all of the tech letters I'll need to read and memorize. I love learning new things.
This weekend Simon and I are going to the coast as our Christmas gift to each other. He won' t tell me where we're going. All I know is we have a fireplace, a TV and a VCR, which is good because the weather is so crappy I don't know what else we'll do--yeah, aside from that. *blush* I'm worried that the highway by Tillamook will be flooded and we won't be able to get to the coast. I have images of cows in waterwings floating down the highway.
Kudos to Webchick who helped me recover my website when I accidentally turned the entire template black. I am such a dork.
