Just about blew a gasket.

So I was browsing around on some of the photo search engines to see if anyone was stealing my Flickr photos and using them inappropriately. I was pleased to see that the few pictures that people had posted to their blogs were using them correctly and giving me credit and a link back to my Flickr account. Groovy. Then I started poking around on Technorati and found that someone stole one of my blog entries. Here's mine (scroll down to "In the Name of Beauty") and here's the stolen version. I can't tell you how completely and totally irate I got. I freaking blew a gasket. Seriously, I had my lawsuit all figured out as well as using all my wicked hacking skillz to figure out where Kyorli the Plagiarizer lives and breathes. I think what bothered me the most was she uncapitalized all the "I"s. Please, I went to grad school, I know how to capitalize the nominative singular pronoun. Then I started thinking, are any of her entries real? Why on earth would someone want to steal my childhood memories and pass them off as their own? It boggles the mind. Frankly, it's kind of pathetic. I guess the only saving grace is that it's clear no one reads that blog and it will probably go unattended and forgotten soon. You might want to check and see if she stole any of your entries as well.
