Your Dad had a really active and worthwhile life; you are justifiably proud of him. You know that Seattle is a kind of beacon in First Aid circles, for the way it has pioneered advanced first aid techniques? And your dad was one of the first EMTs that started it all off. That is brilliant. You and your family will never stop missing your Dad - but over time the loss will become easier to bear.
