Say it, don't spray it:

You know, we've had alarmingly similar illnesses. I had sarcoidosis in my early 30's (lucked out, if you can use that term, with a quick diagnosis because a woman in this region suffered for months like you did before being diagnosed and so her case was presented at the local hospital as a teaching example). My doctor knew what he was seeing because of that poor woman. Fortunately it didn't get to my eyes (ouch, you be the Queen o' Bad Luck) but I did get the lung problems and the lovely welts on my legs. If it's any consolation there don't seem to have been any long term effects and once they started treating me it cleared up rapidly. With all the advances in medicine over the last 25 years, I'm sure they'll have you mended lickety split. Don't you just love the words lickey split? Hope you're feeling better soon. You've really been through a lot.

not that mystery illnesses are of any humor, whatsoever (nor any comfort to you, either)... at least you got a wicked good pair of David Bowie eyes as part of the deal. now, some positive karma wouldn't hurt, either. if i've any to spare, i'll send some.
