I finished reading your book. It was pretty good. The action stayed up for the most part. You were right about micah in one of your earlier entries, he did become alittle wussy at one point, too much of a civilized man, but you brougt him back nicely. plus, it was a good contrast and showed his too sides very well. The characters and ending were alittle stereotypical, but were still (can't think of word) enough to keep me entertained. I finished the book in one sitting, for goodness sakes! (of course, now I am really behind on work) Even with the foreshadowing, I didn't guess the very ending scene, even though I thought that would happen, but sometime after the book (like an asumed thing). I wish I knew more of what happens to Aidan and Christa, like Daedelus and Emme. Are Aidan and Christa even at the campsite at the end? Anyway, after all of that rambling, I just wanted to say nice work, especially for a month. Take a break, you deserve it!

First let me say who I am- I used to be miss-madelyn on diaryland (duh). I drop by from time to time to read you. Anyway! Congratulations on the book, what an accomplishment to have it done in a month. Amazing. I read it all. And I was really hooked. The plot is great, although I think there are minor details that need a little working on. I felt like I knew Cassidy, but at the same time I felt like I knew very little about her. Make sense? Micah is a stronger character near to the end, and I like the turn you took with him. I love how you introduced character traits for Cassidy and Micah through each other. The storyline was powerful, the ending a little cliche (but I knew it was going to happen). Like jcat said, I was wondering about Aidan and Christa, even a little more on Edrick? I hope that my comments help even in the slightest. I definitely enjoyed it, and I think that with some fine tuning and tweaking you have a making of a good book. Good job!

Pretty tasty book! I wouldn't have minded a little backstory on Cassidy, but all in all very well written. Had to skip over the steamier parts, as I mostly read this at work or the library. And don't feel so jealous about brewing. As a friend of mine said, "If you can make a Duncan Hines cake, you can brew beer." Malt syrup is a wonderful thing. Brewing only gets finicky when you start dealing with all-grain mashing and diacetyl rests and so forth. All you need is a quiet, dark closet, some basic equipment, and a few specialized ingredients. And bottles. Lots and lots of bottles.
