Also, you can totally finish. What's a little under 8,000 words in the face of 50,000? Peanuts, I tell you. Plus, with your family, we all know you'll be drinking wine, so if you can stay awake, you'll have none of those pesky internal editor inhibitions to slow you down. Just the terrible typing and spelling that goes along with the wine, but that can be cleaned up in the rewrite.

A quick way to thaw a frozen bird is to let a nice drizzle of cold water run over it. I thawed mine in four hours. A tip for next year! Keep plugging away - you'll get the book done!!
