I liked that, it's always interesting to know what's in a person's cubicle or desk. Me, I don't have too many unusal things. I have pictures of my son and one of my cats, I have a frog pen mingling with some other pens in a pen holder, a travel sized bottle of lotion, a bunny finger puppet (I'm not sure how I came to own that thing) and a little plastic flower (purple). :) Other then that I have "normal" office things on my desk.

Here goes: plush MetLife Snoopy, copy of Poodle with a Mohawk print, Beavis and Butthead keychain, picture of Joe Strummer, Have an Ordinary Day button, Fallen Angels postcard (Michelangelo's angels, smoking cigarettes and drinking beer), sticker: Warning - My Cat Is Smarter Than Your Honor Student, coloring book page colored by my niece five years ago, a Peanuts jelly jar/glass (used as pencil cup), and two mugs: "I'm only doing this job to keep myself busy between films" (a diva Boynton kitty) and "Hire the left-handed -- it's fun to watch them write."

Weird? A platic albino rat, a photo of myself with my fist plastered against Far-i's nose, photo of my (step) grandchildren, blonde photo of myself at the Pink Flamingo Party (hmm.... is there a pattern here), peacock and pink emery boards (very important to be able to sharpen claws at work). Not too weird, But keep in mind, I only work part time!

Four different sets of magnetic blocks and mosaic tiles for those times when you need artistic expression on the side of your file cabinet. And a pile of technical books cleverly disguised as a monitor stand.

I just got a promotion not too long ago so my new desk isn't very decorated yet, but...I'm a Virgo, with obsessive Virgo tendencies...I lined up all the broken computers in our office on a desk with post-its on each detailing what the problem was with each one...and the VP of the company walks in, stares in disbelief, and says "[My boss' name], what is this, Future Shop?", heh :D
