My MIL is going to a place in Lake Oswego called Back 2 Backs (www.back2backs.com). They have a team of chiropractors and DO's that are supposedly doing wonders with back pain. Take a look.

The DEQ is closed on Mondays so it can be open on Saturdays. It's a common practice. As for Columbus Day, well, it's important to recognize and honor the 15th-century expedition that discovered a major metropolitan area in the center of Ohio and liberated the worked by giving them an extra day off.

Strangely enough, I have a horrid migraine today, too. My usual remedy, two advil, two tylenol and anything with lots of caffeine, is only making a small dent. I suspect its allergy-related at this point, so I'm about to add a Claritin-D. I figure it'll either go away or I'll be so drugged up I won't care. Either way, I think I might head home early today...

I'll check them out but I don't think they're on my insurance chiropractor's list. I did do chiropractic care for a month and they tried everything and eventually told me so quit coming. They said they'd be happy to take my money and keep treating me but I didn't seem to be responding.

They're not actually a chiropractic group, but some chiropractors are on the "team." I believe the man in charge is a neurosurgeon. But they do other alternative treatments to surgery that are their specialty.
