i'm sure everyone has false memories, it's just harder for most people to tell which ones are false because they don't come from vampire fiction. the only one that comes to mind at the moment is that i clearly remember what the birthday candle at my 3rd birthday party looks like, but when i look at pictures, my memory is totally incorrect. i've heard a friend tell others about her 21st birthday party was like, a party which i had attended. what she told was what she had wanted the party to be like, but things didn't go exactly as she had planned originally. it's funny that she conveniently forgot those details - i doubt she was intentionally lying.
