TMBG, "Where Do they Make Balloons?" From "NO!", the kids' album they did in 2001. Great '60s sounding pop, and it features the drummer on vocals rather than either of the two Johns. The Professor loves it, and it just makes ya feel all kinds of happy.

Well, going by my top played on my iPod, "Ultimate" by Lindsay Lohan, "This Celluloid Dream" by AFI, "Hey Ya" by Outkast, and "Jimmy Olson's Blues" by the Spin Doctors.

Do you really want musical recommendations from me? Because I think you know what you're gonna get, if that's the case.

i have an acoustic version of that Dido song that's absolutely gorgeous - i got it from a cd that KINK released with performances by artists who have visited the studio. i think i borrowed it from the Multnomah County library. never seen it online though. right now my favorite songs are "origin of love" from the Hedwig soundtrack and "damaged good" by Gang of Four.

also! "you're no rock and roll fun" by Sleater Kinney. it's the best.

"Generic Up-Tempo Folksong" - The Limeliters. I've also been listening a lot to Nightwish, generally.
