God, I love that music! How about Depeche Mode -- Master & Servant? Too synth? Or Violent Femmes? Or something from Ministry's album, With Sympathy?

I was going to say, shouldn't you have some Depeche Mode? But I see Autumn beat me to it. What about Jesus and Mary Chain?

Shadow Play by Joy Division is one of my favourites.

Hi KFK. Happy Friday to you! I have a good list for you of stuff I used to like: My Life with the Thrill Kill Kult, Nine Inch Nails, Gang of Four, Fear Factory, Killing Joke, The Cult, The Damned, Tones on Tail. :)

Yes, Depeche Mode. Seems to be a popular theme. Definitely some Bauhaus (because you can never have too much of Peter Murphy's voice). She's In Parties, Who Killed Mr. Moonlight, Spy in a Cab, and All We Ever Wanted was Everything are all good songs (but, of course, there are tons more good ones). I'm thinking I'm going to have to do a "best of" Peter Murphy/Bauhaus compilation soon. I'll burn you a copy when I'm done. Maybe some Sisters of Mercy?

How Soon Is Now (the Smiths), You Spin Me . . . (Dead or Alive), The Metro (Berlin), London Calling (the Clash), Killing Moon (Echo & the Bunnymen), and I second the Tones on Tail suggestion (specifically "go!"). whee!

What about the Pixies? They were always one of my favorites. Or is that to 90-ish? Dibs on a copy of your cd, if that's okay? :D

"The Love Cats" by The Cure. Just to lighten things up a bit.
