Geez, I sure hope you get your stereo fixed soon. If I were you, I'd just go ahead and yank it out so you don't have to listen to that garbage anymore. And write a note to the station, too! There's just no excuse for that, even jokingly. I never listen to a.m. radio just because of all that crap.

I swore off all morning radio shows a long time ago because they're all terribly offensive and obnoxious. I think the idea is that crass stuff will get your attention when you're waking up, it'll stimulate your brain or something. who knows.

I hate NRK now and listen to 105.1 The Buzz, for Daria, because she is my favorite morning radio DJ. Actually, she's my favorite DJ, period. And Aleta, I must disagree with your comment that "all" morning radio programs are "offensive and obnoxious." The Gustav and Daria show from KNRK (before they fired them) was intelligent, witty, sarcastic and completely hilarious. Weird news stories, Those Crazy Foreigners, Daria's Local Entertainment Guide (my favorite part of the former NRK morning show!), Feature Friday bands, and a crapload of other awesome stuff. True, they did delve into fart-joke territory now and again, but they did it in a way that didn't insult my intelligence. I was so incredibly pissed off when they fired G&D that I literally cried for four, five days. But I'm happy that Daria's back, even if she does seem to be a little constricted in what she can and can't do/say for the Buzz (anyone else notice that? she hasn't ranted or sung once yet. I loved when she did those on NRK).

I'm actually a little glad that Marconi moved to the mornings because I'm more apt to listen to the radio in the evening, and he's always pissed me off. I was so happy when I turned on the radio and flipped on to NRK one day to find that he was gone (gone!!!) It is sad that it's only because they moved him and not because they got rid of him altogether. Gustav and Daria are a bajillion times better than that stupid show.
