I agree with you about inside the house they are fair game. Hard to tell if he chased them out the door and stopped..and the hurt guy limped out or if he tracked them into the street. If he stopped at the door thats fine, but it would be better to stop and go back to make sure everyone else is ok. Just be ready in case they come back. Since the robbers came in, tied up and threatened people then he can use force to disable them. Running after them waving a knife in the street is just a bit much.

It sounds like self defense, but in my opinion, I don't give a shit if he chased them and knifed them all down. They deserved it.

I think the robbers & the surviving dependents should get workers comp. It is a risk of the job, that someone is actually going to fight back and kick your sorry ass.

I think that even if he did chase them down, he could probably argue that he was under enough mental stress that his reaction wasn't premeditated. And yeah, I don't believe in killing people, but I am not crying big salty tears for these particular people.

I never fully understood why so many governments are so worked up about the death of a criminal. Especially when the baddies treaten women with rape. Death is just a risk of the trade as far as I am concerened. They had no right to be there, thats all that should matter Its just another one of these political correctness game. Moronic prosecutors Only the yanks have the right view!
