Remember what I said about not wanting to be afraid about working downtown? Well, I'm afraid, very very afraid.
On a separate subject I just got a call from the hiring supervisor for the job I applied for. He wanted me to come upstairs. I was adamant, "Just tell me over the phone! I can't handle this." He said. "Shut up and come up here, it's good news." So I got the job! Happy happy happy.
What will I be doing? Well, when people ask for reviews of their denied or closed disability claims I will be the person that does the independent review. I will be working for our legal department. I also get a small raise for changing positions. I'm so excited I could dance the watusi.
OK, I'm going to put on my bullet proof vest and ninja gear and get out of downtown.
