Virus Interview Cats Sleep Links

There seems to be some evil virus running through the office that is crashing everyone's computers one by one. For some reason I seem to be unaffected but I don't know how long that will last. The tech people are all running around with their cell phones looking pale and frantic.

I have an interview at our HR department at 10:30 this morning so send me good vibes. The last three times I applied for this position I interviewed directly with the supervisor. This time they're screening everyone through the HR department. So I have to go over and convince this person that I'm perfect for the job and take a written test. Yep. A written test. They'll probably have me write a claim denial letter or something. I think it's a complete waste of my time but I'll smile and jump through their hoops.

I decided to take Friday off work. I figure I deserve a four day weekend and my desk isn't too busy right now. That way I can go to Kung Fu on Friday morning. I like the morning classes because they're small and you get to work out with people you don't normally see.

I'm planning a surprise for Simon's birthday. (I don't think he reads my diary!) He's been saying he wants a cheap car stereo forever so I think I'll buy him one and secretly install it. I found one of his friends who is confident he can install it for me. Now I just have to be sneaky and conniving and find a way to surprise him.

The cats kept me up for most of the night. Trinity was determined to sleep draped over my neck and face and Loki kept punching me in the nose to get me to lift up the covers so he could climb under. They don't normally sleep with us so it must be getting colder at night. Argh. What I wouldn't give for a few hours of uninterrupted sleep.
