I think my head is finally starting to clear up. I tagged along with Simon to the health food store yesterday, he was on a quest for aloe vera juice as he heard it would be good for his stomach. I bought some organic fruit and small packets of Emer'gen-C so I can overdose on vitamins. I think it's actually working a bit. Or it's a placebo effect. I don't care what is causing it so long as I'm in shape for kung fu camp starting Monday.

I broke 10,000 words on my NaNoWriMo novel today. And I got a call from the computer store and they said my iBook came back from Apple and it's OK, which means they can't figure out what's wrong with it. So I guess I'm going to have to wipe the hard drive and start over again. If I'm lucky my brother will help me salvage some of my programs. The real bummer is that I've got most of my CD collection stored in iTunes. Does anyone know if I have this in my iPod if it will update iTunes automatically or does it only read and write in one direction. Alas, the constant love/hate battle with technology

Sinus hell.

Oh man, I've got the mother of all head colds. My head and sinuses are pounding and I feel like crap. I spent last night curled up on the couch with both of my cats and watched Buffy reruns. Simon was in the bedroom suffering from viral enteritis. Yes, we are a sexy couple to be around these days. Around 8:00 I was bored so I painted my fingernails a sparkly silver/burgundy color. They look very festive, more festive than I'm feeling.

I had a dream last night that I was pregnant and trying to convince my sifu that I could still take kung fu lessons because I had only gained two pounds. How strange is that. No, I'm not pregnant. If I have a baby it will be a planned event not an oops-forgot-to-take-my-little-green-pills event.

It's not my fault.

Hi there. Long time no update. Sorry I've been a bit sick and have had a crappy few days. Here are the highlights!

1. Some bastard hit my adorable miata and didn't leave a note. She's got a broken parking light and a gouged bumper. I've got a $300 deductible so I guess things could be worse.

2. Simon is sick and blaming me for poisoning him with pasta. In my defense, I'll just say I ate the pasta and my stomach is just fine.

3. Woke up early on Saturday and pounded out 1,700 words for my NaNoWriMo novel. My iBook suddenly developed narcolepsy and wouldn't wake up from sleep! I tried everything and had to take it in to be serviced. Now my 1,700 words are in Californa at the Apple service center. Crappity crap crap. (current word count without the lost words is 7,653)

4. I've got a killer headache and am leaving work early today.
