Testing day.
2002-09-21 4:00 p.m.
Today was a test day at kung fu so I didn't get to work out. However, I did get to bring my camera and play photographer. We even managed to hook my camera up to the television at the school so everyone could see a preview of the pictures. Here are a few of my favorites.

*sniff, sniff, cough, cough*
Ick. I've been sick this week, which is why I haven't updated. I've been sleeping 12-14 hours a day and when I'm awake I'm on the couch watching the first season of the Sopranos. Pretty good stuff. Almost makes me want to upgrade my cable to include HBO. With that and Tivo I'd never leave the house. I'm starting to feel better. I'm at work this morning trying to read over some medical records. This is never a good thing to do when I'm feeling sick because I turn into a hypochondriac and think I'm getting whatever I'm reading about. So far this morning I think I have congestive heart failure, adjustment disorder and possibly some bursitis in my left shoulder.

Friday night was a drag. Simon had all these weird plans and home improvement projects he was working on. I wanted us to actually go out and do something. We've been spending too much time just loafing around the house. Finally, at 8:00pm Simon announced that he could do something and offered to buy me dinner. I picked a nice place close by to go to: The Portland Ale House. Of course when we get there it's closed to do smoke and fire damage. The odd thing is that this has happened to me on three separate occasions. I'll get all excited about a restaurant and when we get there it's burning down. I hope it's not me.
Did anyone catch the DeLaHoya/Vargas fight on Saturday? Went to a pay per view party and threw in $7 to watch the fight. I really wanted DeLaHoya to win. I didn't like Vargas' bad mouthing and this whole invention of a "feud" that apparently started many year ago when DeLaHoya giggled at Vargas for slipping in the snow. What's up with that? Vargas was strong early on but DeLaHoya had better conditioning and more patience.
Good news, Simon got the decision on his unemployment hearing. He won. Let's here it for receiving some sort of income! He's now officially unemployed and not a slacker.
