Buses- (n) plural of the transport vehicle. Busses- (n) plural of big smacking kisses ie: a buss. Busses- (v) the act of giving big smacking kisses. Also to clean dirty dishes off restaurant tables. A bus boy busses tables. Lord how I love being a grammar geek first thing in the morning! Thanks. ~LA

Ohhh, don't get me started on car repair places. I can give you a New Yawk sentence with the word "bus". Ok, here goes. "Hey stupid, if you'z don't fix my frickin' car I'm gonna bus' you'z right in the frickin' nose!" That's how we do it here. Glad you're all fixed up and safe, KFK.

I spell it buses. Not heard of the smacking kisses meaning, but have vaguely heard of bussing tables - guess it must be US Englsih rather than UK English. And what's the deal with not having the parts in stock? I thought most components like that were pretty standard. And why do mechanics always tighten up the parking brake? I find the opposite to you - the mechanics leave the seat pulled right up close so I can't get in the seat!

You really do like to live on the wild side. Heh. I have to take my car in tomorrow since something is happening to it that shouldn't happen until my warranty expires. Man, they screwed up!

My grandma had her car detailed once; when she got it back the interior smelled like 3-day old sweaty armpit. NICE.
