Call and complain, tell them you want not only your tip back, but the price you paid for the pizza. Tell them exactly why. Don't take no or sorry for an answer. My guess is that you'll get a FREE PIZZA coupon. If there was time and space here, I'd tell you about the time we complained because they'd charged us 2 cents too much and got free pizza for almost a year. Seriously. Do it.

first, people need to stop tipping pizza delivery people. they make more than 3 times what a waiter/ess makes. they get paid hourly and mileage. did he deserve $3 extra dollars for getting out of his car to walk onto your porch, be rude and head back to his car? he was actually already being paid for that time as well as his mileage to get to your house, so the answer is no. and call them to complain. i once got a vegetarian pizza from them that had 2 kinds of meat on it. got my next order free.

They once bought me the wrong pizza. I phoned to complain and a short while later they brought me the right one. We had been very good and not eaten any of the wrong one* so we could swap it, but when he came back he said we could keep that one too. *well. I'd not eaten any of it because it had pineapple. I don't like pineapple

Over her lifetime, my mother has complained so many times about food at various venues, getting things free about 98% of the time, she could have fed all of India (sorry, I just saw "Millionaire Slumdog). Most places WILL give you something FREE if you bitch. I really think, at this point, my mom just bitches to get stuff free ON PURPOSE. Yours does sound legitimate. Frankly though I'm really onboard for that all-feline version of High School Musical. ^..^

I am from Canada, so we order from Pizza Pizza where it's 40 minutes or free. Is there nowhere around there like that? That is terrible! P.S. Looking forward to seeing hair pics! I love Feria but can't use it cause my hair has too much grey.

Dominos pizza always tastes weird to me. We were strictly Papa John's customers until they pissed us off with crappy pizza and even crappier service, and I wasn't the only one in town complaining. We now have to order from Pizza Hut and go pick it up. The Travesty!!!!

J, not all delivery drivers get an hourly wage. I was one that did, but I've worked in more than one place where the driver gets a flat rate for the night (less than$15!!) and then the rest is relied on tips and/or per drive.

Girl, in my previous job, I was privy to the wages of all 3 major national pizza chains, as well as several local ones. All of them made $6+/hr + mileage + tips. I've never heard of anyone anywhere paying a flat rate per shift for any job, excluding salary. And anyone who would accept a $45/wk salary is an idiot, unless they live in a third world country where $2 a week pays your rent. Many of those people whose payroll I am talking about would make $45/night in tips.
