I got to read a ton of Shelley correspondence for a research project I did on P.B. Shelley a few years ago - it was awesome. I found this one dingy old book that was just stuffed full of his letters.

We had a brief respite yesterday, but we're having another blizzard today. We're heading for the 24" mark now and although WE"RE prepared because we're New Yawk, its still a pain in the ass walking and driving in. I've lived here 19 years now and I still whimper if my car slides even slightly. Glad you got your Diet Soda fix at least!

It's been raining down here (the tail end of your storms) and Wally the cat normally shoots out the back sliding glass door when he open it. It's funny to see him skidding to a halt when he realizes that water is falling from the sky.

Wasn't that the dreaded snowfall of 1995? I know in my area they got 2 feet. I'm pretty sure that's the year they were sending electrical guys from BC to oregon to help out
