Blade II or why I'm not truly a goth
2002-04-14 9:29 a.m.

We went to a movie with some friends last night who wanted to see Blade II. I hadn't seen Blade I but went along anyway. Frankly, it was a bit too gory for me. I really didn't like seening exposed spinal cords and people munching disemboweled people. Call me a prude if you will, but I prefer the more romantic version of vampires a la Anne Rice and Buffy the Vampire Slayer. I did enjoy seeing Wesley Snipes do some of his martial arts stuff. I wish they had done some fight scenes with less cuts and camera angles. Wesley can fight and is very talented, he doesn't need a chopped up fight scene to deliver a stunning performance.

In other news ther is no qigong class today as my instructor is at her Cherokee indian circle at the beach this weekend. My that girl is multispiritual! I also just got an invitation to her wedding which I thought was very sweet. I love making new friends and with kung fu I have made a lot! Yea.

I'm curled up on the couch wrapped in a quilt with the lap top balancing across my, er, lap. Simon is still sleeping, I think he was up until 3:30, cheeky monkey, and the cats are running from window to window bird watching. I'm trying to find somewhere I can store some MP3s online so I can link to them in my diary.
